As we start this new series of back squats for the next 6 weeks I thought it would be good to talk about a common fault that happens during the bracing sequence.
Overextension is a fault around the spin when you arch your back. Instead of arching your back and then driving your hips back to initiate the squat we want make sure our stomach and butt is tight and we want to hinge at the hips to initiate your squat.
